JUSTKIDS and StreetArtNews curated the Urban Nation Berlin notorious signature event Project M/9. Invited by URBAN NATION MUSEUM FOR URBAN CONTEMPORARY ART Director Yasha Young to brought summer flavors to Berlin, Project M/9 “Colors” co-curators Charlotte Dutoit and Rom Levy selected 6 international acclaimed artists to create murals at our future museum building in the Bülowstrasse 7 in Berlin-Schöneberg. “Colors” showcased the works of 12 amazing artists from all over the world last June 11th at URBAN NATION headquarter.

This project is unique new museum and archive for research, exhibitions and exchange, focusing on one of the most important art forms, and the most documented art movements in the 21st century opened
its doors to the public.

Urban Nation was built as the first independent and non-commercial space for urban contemporary art. With more than 100 artists, Urban Nation Berlin made the impossible possible, and with the support of Berlin’s secretary of cultural affairs, Tim Renner, this initiative was congratulated because of its vision and ambition.

The unique institution houses all nations under one roof and its located at Bülowstrasse 7 in Schöneberg, Berlin. For the inaugural day, Rom Levy from SAN Projects and a panel of other curators have selected approximately 100 urban artists, including Seth Globetrotter, Jaz, Invader, Shepard Fairey, Banksy, Faith47, Icy and Sot, Herakut, Nychos, RETNA, Saner, just to mention a few. Their pieces also were created specifically for the museum and exhibited for the very first time.
