FINE ART EDITIONS

The Fine Arts Editions project started in 2012 in an East-London garage, as a way to both raise awareness around emerging artists and to make artworks accessible to anyone. Successfully and abundantly shipping prints all around the world, the home-made print production moved to Torino in 2014, as the collaboration with master printer Marco Scellato contributed largely to its professional establishment.

Positioning itself in relation to a thriving street art market as an alternative to mainstream selling activities, Fine Arts Editions has faced the challenge of bringing very limited editions by famous artists to not only collectors, but also art lovers and street art fans, for affordable prices and through creative distribution means such as happenings, loteries and social media-run real-time games.

In addition to a permanent printmaking studio, the projects is coupled with the Mission to Art artist residency program, which invites artists to participate in all the steps of the print production. A longer time frame allows for an in-depth discussion with Rom Levy and Marco Scellato, who are involved in all the technical and conceptual aspects of the production, in order to produce the best work possible for a larger market.

By opening the dynamic street art market to the people, Fine Arts Editions seeks to bring valuable art into people’s daily life and to provide an augmented presence to the artists.
